HMD is just a couple of weeks away to launch its most awaited Flagship the Nokia 8 at a big event. Meanwhile, Nokia 2 device passed via the FCC with Model numbers TA-1007, TA-1023, TA-1029 and model number TA-1035.
So, these are the different variants of Nokia 2 for Europe. Furthermore, these devices should cater for the price range equal to $120 to $180 USD. The internals will be all budget oriented.
Moreover, the phones measures about 15.4cm diagonally that’s 13.9cm in height and 47mm(4.7cm)in width. Which suggests this is an indeed a budget oriented one and not a high-end smart phone. In the coming weeks, we could learn more about these new devices.
According to a Weibo leak, the most speculated specs for it are a Snapdragon 210 chipset at best. While 2GB of RAM will be there, which seems okay for such an inexpensive phones. The device will have an 8MP camera on the rear while the front will have a 5MP one. The battery is being rumored to be close to 2800 mAh which will be enough to power the device for a full work day.
In addition to that HMD has now also promised to update its low-end phones to the latest version of Android, starting with Nokia 6 and 3. So, it won’t take much effort on a Qualcomm chip to upgrade it to a new version of Android as it would on a MediaTek one.
We will have to wait a few weeks to get some more info about these upcoming Nokia handsets, Nokia is trying hard to gather some share of the phone market which it used to rule a few years back.
