Google’s Pixel devices are about to launch in a couple of days, but as usual, the leaks keep on coming and here’s a huge one, to gaze your eyes on the premium version of the Pixel devices; that’s the Pixel XL 2 has been leaked by @evleaks. The device we see here has that earlier rumored edge-to-edge bezel-less display with the now trendy 18:9 aspect ratio.
If you look closely, you can see resemblances to the Samsung’s Galaxy S8/S8+ but there’s isn’t any curved display like the Galaxy. Talking about the speakers, the previously leaked screen protectors of the pixel devices we observed Dual-front firing speakers, which can be even seen in this render. Thus, confirming the fact that the Dual-front speakers from the Nexus 6 returns again.
Moreover, the device leaked here seems to be in a rugged case, and if you look at the top and bottom ends that’s to the edge of the case, at the bottom, there’s an opening for the USB-TYPE C.
However, there is no such extra protrusion observed, neither at the bottom; nor at the top, for a 3.5 mm Headphone jack. Just hope you get a Type-C to audio jack’s dongle inside the box.
Furthermore, the overall bezels are quite minimal, and the revamped front design looks quite appealing. The display seems like a 5.8-inch panel carrying a resolution of Quad-HD an AMOLED display will be good, as the iPhone X also uses the same display tech.
While on the spec side, expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, paired with 4GB RAM 128GB native storage with the norm as always with no sd-card support. Pricing could start from $799 for this XL variant with 64GB storage option, and $899 is expected for the 128GB variant.
