Samsung has recently released the Blueborne fix update for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in other countries, and as per the latest information, the wait for the Indian users is over as people are receiving the fix update for their device.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus units in various countries have already received this update; It aims to fix the recently found Blueborne vulnerability. Blueborne is a big leak in Android ecosystem which can transfer from device to device using an open Bluetooth connection; this malware doesn�t require to pair with the phone as it enters the device and transfers the required information to the hacker. So to fix that various brands are introducing new updates for their smartphones.
Reportedly the update that arrives in India weighs 476MB and is an OTA type of update. The version number of the update is G955FXXU1AQI7 and looks like this version is for the S8 Plus units, for S8 it may be the G950FXXU1AQI7.
The update will also fix some existing issues of the handsets and will protect the device from various vulnerabilities. Users can also expect some performance changes in the new upgrade. In other countries, this update brings Wireless charging and Navigation bar fix.
