For a while, Xiaomi has been preparing for the official roll out of their MIUI 9 update, and Xiaomi has already released MIUI 9 for some of its smartphones like Redmi Note 4 while users of other devices are still waiting for it.
Recently Xiaomi has posted a list on the MIUI forum which shows that which smartphones will not receive the further updates from Xiaomi, so let�s check out more information about it.

This list shows the list of devices which will not receive any further update from Xiaomi after the latest MIUI 9. As per Xiaomi, they are still rolling out updates for even their 5-year-old devices which is a great fact as generally, brands stop the update process for their old devices and for that I can account on them as my old Redmi 1S is still getting updates.
As per the list, devices like Mi2/Mi2s, Mi Note, Mi4i, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 2/2 prime, Redmi 1S will not be going to receive any further updates after MIUI 9.
Xiaomi also said that they had suspended the Beta updates for these smartphones as well which means these smartphones mentioned earlier will not receive any Beta update anymore. As per them, MIUI V7.11.16 is the last Beta update for the device and with effect from 17th�November Beta updates will get eliminated for these devices. It is good news for those who don�t own one of these old devices and will continue to receive the updates.
