Samsung Galaxy A5 2018 confirmed to sport an Infinity display

Samsung’s upcoming mid-range devices are going to shake the market as the largest smartphone maker has decided to introduce its much loved Infinity display on its forthcoming Galaxy A5 2018 as well as on the Galaxy A7 2018. The rumors and some render first suggested this decision from the South-Korean giant, but now on an HTML 5 testing site, the Galaxy A5 2018 was spotted benchmarking the web-browser. And in the screen-size details, it say’s the resolution to be 412 x 816 pixels which equate to 18:9 which is what every major flagship is using this year.

So, this confirmed that the Galaxy A5 2018 would surely flaunt an edge to edge 18:9 aspect ratio AMOLED panel. Whether it will be curved on the sides or not remains to be seen, but most probably Samsung won’t give that premium design element to a mid-range device as far as we know the case.

Apart from that in the HTML tests its scored a healthy 517 points out of 555 points, and the device is still running on Android Nougat 7.1.1. This OS in the test, might raise some eyebrow’s concerning about Android Oreo’s development for the Mid-range device’s haven’t started yet? Or maybe this is just for testing purpose; it can be either way.

So, with the infinity display dominating the front side, there won’t be any home-button on the front, and you’ll get the fingerprint reader on the rear. If you have been following the Galaxy A series 2018 leaks; lately, the device also got Bluetooth 5.0 certification for its Exynos chip and so on. Samsung has fixed the placement of the reader and its now at a much more natural place and can be reached with ease. The same arrangement can also be expected on the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy Note 9 in 2018.
