Samsung’s Galaxy A series is the brand’s mid-range segment of smartphones with high-end specs and premium build quality, and the upcoming A devices will also have some top-notch specs; As per this new listing of an A series 2018 phone spotted on Geekbench. The Galaxy A7 2018 with the model number SM-A730F has been spotted on Geekbench with an impressive single-core score of 1486 and a respectable multi-core score of 4145.
So, this means the upcoming A7 2018 will pack some serious punch under its hood. Starting with the amount of RAM it packs is staggering for an A series, which is now at 6 Gigs of memory.
Moreover, on the processor side, we have Samsung’s in-house made Exynos7885 octa-core chipset running the show here, which is clocked at 1.6GHz. Obviously, this will have four low powered core and four high power ones to lift all the heavy tasks.
Apart from this, the listing shows the device was running on Android Nougat 7.1.1. So, still no signs of Android Oreo thing; but we still hope when it launches in 2018, it will hopefully come with Android Oreo. As the Android Oreo 8.1 update will be coming in December, and now the developer preview is out for download.
Furthermore, the Galaxy A7 will feature a massive battery anywhere around 4000mAh plus and an Infinity display just like the Galaxy A5 2018, which was also leaked a month ago. Both devices could launch together, in the second half of 2018.
