Samsung Galaxy S10+ will sport a Penta camera setup

Samsung’s Galaxy S10 will be a game-changing device as from the last generation the South Korean giant is just refining its tried and tested formula ever since. But now with the 10th anniversary of the “S” series, everyone’s expecting something groundbreaking from Samsung. According to new reports straight from Samsung’s hometown, the upcoming Galaxy S10 line up will excel in the camera department as it is said to sport a whopping 5 cameras in total.

Not that the rear will have a 5 camera cluster, the count will be three on the rear, while two on the front. Like on the Huawei P20 Pro which also features a triple camera setup, and after Samsung joining the race, this new camera count war will begin after we witnessed the megapixel war. Speaking about the cameras, the front will sport two of them similar to what was seen on the Galaxy A8 2018.

The front shooter apart from performing the usual portrait mode might also help with facial recognition, unless Samsung plans to create a faceID competitor. The Samsung Galaxy S10 will have three variants as we reported earlier which goes by the codename beyond 0, 1 and 2, out of which the premium model which will probably have that 5 camera setup. While the standard model from the S10 family will have dual camera’s on the rear.

Moreover, the camera setup on the galaxy S10+ is set to have a 12-megapixel wide angle with a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor, while the third one is said to come with a 16-megapixel Ultra-wide angle sensor with an impressive 120 degree or greater field of view. The Galaxy S10 Plus has to be a memorable one like the iPhone X, and Samsung will sure make sure they impress everyone with it.
