Google is currently rolling out a new update for the Play Store with version number 8.7.10, this is a minor bug fix update and doesn’t bring anything new to the table regarding new user interface or features. However, there are a lot of under the hood changes.
A tiny bump from version 8.7.9 to the latest build of 8.7.10; and all changes as always are done under the hood, at the code level. It is a good practice that you keep your Google Play Store up to date, as the newest version should feature all the latest security facilities as well, from refreshed databases about spam apps to the search filter option, which again popped for some users.
The search filter seems like a server-side toggle, and it helps to filter out apps as per various categories, for instance, apps which are FREE on the Play Store and Apps and games that are paid. It is also capable of showing results for apps/games which have ads or are completely add free.
A convenient, neat little feature to save a lot of time, hunting apps which don’t pop up ads now and then. To avail this latest version of Google Play Store, you can Download the newest APK from the link given below or wait patiently till the time Google rolls out the update in your region.
Lastly, also make sure you have the latest Google Play Services installed as well if you haven’t seen the update notification yet.
