Xiaomi’s new member in it’s the ever-growing line-up of smart phones is about to join the party soon. This new Xiaomi device was reported earlier, when it was spotted on Xiaomi’s RF exposure website, with just a name to it. But now as expected we have a leaked image of the device. The Mi A1 is supposed to be an upcoming Google Android One device.
And we’re happy to report that Xiaomi has again broken the barrier of traditional designs and now the new Xiaomi Mi A1 (Xiaomi’s Android One) will be ready with Bezel less screen panel, while on the sides, the panel has a subtle curve. As well as its first Android one smart phone from the Chinese giant.
And gentlemen, we now have a new contender in the mid-range bezel-less smartphone market, and its target will be LG’s recently launched Q6. Which also sports a similar full-screen panel and the new 18:9 aspect ratio. BTW the company earlier had a Bezel less device called the Mi Mix, but it was made in limited numbers and not available worldwide.
Furthermore, they are also pretty attractive as compared to LG’s offering, which misses out on some of the essential features, which this one has. The Mi A1 is expected to pack the infamous super battery efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, 3GB RAM is expected. And 32GB of native storage with room for expansion. Also, as it’s an Android One device, it will strictly run on stock android and not Xiaomi’s MIUI.
Moreover, the device will have a 5.5-inch full-screen display and dual camera setup. And we also believe that it will have a fingerprint scanner, which the LG Q6 doesn’t. The Mi A1 could be launched globally with MIUI 9 update out of the box on 5th September; though if it will reach outside China or not remains to be seen.
