Xiaomi yesterday revealed the next version of the MIUI viz MIUI 9 along side the Mi 5x, and before we move on to whether your Xiaomi device will be getting the MIUI 9 update or not, here are some major highlights of the MIUI 9.
MIUI 9 brings complete UI change, the stock apps and icons look more polished the UI is smoother and animations are a lot nicer. The biggest difference you will notice straight away is the fact that the new UI is a lot faster than the MIUI 8, Xiaomi has worked a lot in improving background app management and RAM consumption.
There is also an assistant�included in the MIUI 9, which will help you in doing some basic tasks such as taking a note, opening an application etc.
Overall, the MIUI 9 is the much-needed update which will enhance your experience with your favourite Xiaomi devices.
The newly launched Xiaomi Mi 5x is the first device to come with MIUI 9 out of the box, out of all the present devices, the Xiaomi Mi 6 would probably be the first one to get the update followed by other devices.
The upcoming Xiaomi Riva�was also spotted running Android 7.1 Nougat which confirms that this upcoming device from the company will be launched with MIUI 9.
