The budget oriented Redmi Note 5a packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 which is a Quad-core processor clocked at the same 1.4GHz with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable. while the mid-range Redmi Note 5 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 630 as per earlier rumours and will have 4GB RAM. The internal storage comes in with either 32GB or 64GB options with sd-card support.

Moreover, both of them pack the same display size and screen resolution, but we suspect that the Redmi Note 5 to sport a 1080p resolution. While keeping the lights on is a 3000mAh battery capacity. But isn’t that a downgrade from its successor? Which has a massive 4000mAh battery? So, we solely think isn’t a Note, it is just a Redmi 5a with two variants; one with the fingerprint scanner while another variant of the 5a omits that.

Furthermore, on to the camera sensor, the mid-range version of 5a boasts of 16 mega pixel and 13 mega pixel rear and front cameras. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 5A houses 13MP back camera and a modest 5MP selfie snapper.
