Xiaomi is a well known Chinese brand and a few weeks back an image of their upcoming budget series phone was leaked, and along with the image, the specs were also leaked, we are indeed talking about the Xiaomi Redmi 5A. Today the official poster of the upcoming Redmi 5A got leaked, and it shows some highlights of the phone which are stated in the Chinese language though we will try to decode and provide you information.
As per the earlier press render leak, the phone has a Metal+Plastic design and now we are more confident as the latest posted leak also contains a device with a similar design. The leak clearly confirms that the device will run on Xiaomi�s latest MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat. It will weigh around 137 grams and will pack enough battery to deliver 8 hours of standby time. As per earlier leaks, some specs have been confirmed.

It will come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425(64 bit) Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz coupled with optional 2GB and 3GB of RAM. It will be available in two ROM variants 16GB and 32GB which will be expandable up to 128GB�s via micro-SD Card. Redmi 5A will have a 5.0(inch) HD IPS Screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels which is almost identical to that of the Redmi 4A. It will not have a Fingerprint Scanner as it will be a budget oriented device.
The phone may run on a 3000mAh battery and will house a 13MP rear+5MP front camera for taking pictures. The device will be made available in Gray and Gold colors, for further updates stay tuned to us.
