Xiaomi’s Mi 8 has been in leaks for quite some time. This will be Xiaomi’s most anticipated flagship, and the fans have huge expectations from the device. Now Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 which is the latest fast charging standard technology from the American chipmakers and one of its banners regarding what device will support this latest QC 4.0, mentions Xiaomi’s Mi 8 flagship. Which thus further confirms the device’s existence once and for all.
The certification of this QC 4.0 also reveals that the Mi 8 supports the following protocols of Qualcomm fast charging standards, which are 5V/3A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A, which outputs a max power of just 18W which seems weird, anyway. Moreover, the Mi 8 is expected to bring first in class features such as the in-display fingerprint scanner, and as you know, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor which is the highest end silicon from the American chipmaker.
In the memory department, the Xiaomi Mi 8 will sport at least 6GB of RAM and will go all the way up till 8 Gigs similar to its Blackshark gaming smartphone which was also unveiled recently. Apart from that, Dual Camera will be mounted on the rear in a similar fashion that we see on the iPhone X. Furthermore, the Mi 8 from the recent leaks could bring a similar looking notch like the iPhone X(with the same length).

Other features include a faceID competitor, 3300mAh battery will run on Android Oreo 8.1 so a total package for less than $700. However, the 128GB versions could cost a little more which is acceptable.
Once, the Mi 8 is launched it will take on the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+, LG G7 ThinQ, the newly launched OnePlus 6, Huawei P20 Pro and the Moto Z3 when it comes out this fall.
