The rugged variant of the Flagship Galaxy S8 is right around the corner. And last time we had a good look at its images leaked from every angle. Now what we have is a press render with all its Specs and key features mentioned.
Galaxy S8 Active Specific features
The features include an immersive screen which also happens to be shatter resistant not shatter proof like the recently launched Moto Z force edition. The display technology used from Samsung is Super AMOLED panel. While the display style is still mentioned as Infinity edge display, but if we compared them the displays. The Galaxy Actives front panel is not as wide spread as the regular Galaxy S8.
As we can look in the above image the side bezels of the Galaxy s8 Active are just curved from the four vertices. And is not as quite the same looking as the regular S8 because of all the metal frame added for durability.
Speaking of durability this what the Galaxy Active comes with the same Military grade durability standard (MIL-STD-810) similar to the S7 Active. Which also makes it shock proof like the LG V series. The device is also IP68 water proof while there are no mentions of any Dust proofing! The camera is same with Dual-pixel focusing technology with a new Enhanced front camera. Which we think a durable frame may house it inside.
Specs are as usual the latest and the greatest from Qualcomm the Snapdragon 835, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, 12 mega pixel cameras with f1.7 aperture, the front has the same aperture with 8 mega pixel selfie camera and 5.8-inch QUAD HD display. This will come in two different colors the Meteor Gray and Titanium Gold.
Bixby now also in town and will come pre-install with its own set of functionalities. With voice assistant and to activate it with its own dedicated physical button. And as usual, AT&T will carry the Galaxy S8 Active and will arrive soon.
