Samsung has earlier released the Android Nougat update for its old Galaxy J7 Prime, and the latest news is also related to an update which includes October security patches for a lot of Samsung smartphones.
The news is that Samsung has released new updates for its three devices namely Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro, Galaxy A5, and the Galaxy A3. So in this article, we will check out that what this update brings to the following devices.
Firstly let me remind you that it is a security update which means a user should not expect any significant change in the User Interface or anything, these updates are a�must as they protect your device from corrupted or damaged files.
This update contains October security patches for the devices and will arrive as an OTA(Over the Air) update. So there is no scope for manual installation as downloading links of the files are not available.
For the Galaxy J7 Pro, the firmware version is J730GMUBU2AQJ2, and the user will soon receive it with a notification on his/her device. This update won�t upgrade the android version of the phone as it is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. For the Samsung Galaxy A5, the firmware version is A510FXXU4CQJ1, this update will enhance the performance of the device by a margin and is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. For the Galaxy A3, the firmware version is A310FXXU3CQI4; this update will fix the existing issues in the device.
