Xiaomi is looking for Mi Mix 2 beta testers for Android Oreo

Xiaomi’s Bezel-less dream, the Mi Mix 2 is now planned to get the Android Oreo update, and if you happen to own the Mi Mix 2, then you should consider this. As the Chinese Giant is looking for Beta testers to test the Android Oreo 8.0 build for the Mi Mix 2. Now to join this MIUI Global Beta program from Xiaomi just follow the steps given below and you should be good to go on this Oreo beta journey.

The invitation for this Miui 9 beta program was earlier rolled out for only Chinese users, but now the company is also inviting Global users to join it’s testing stage. Moreover, here are some procedures you need to follow if you to be a Beta tester for the Mi Mix 2 Oreo update.

Last Deadline to join 08th, Jan 2018 ( 23:59, as per Beijing Time)

And, you will get the confirmation message until 11th so do check for it. Now here are the Beta Program Recruitment Requirements:

  • Communication tool: QQ Only, no other tool will be allowed
  • You must be using MIUI Global Developer ROM
  • You must be highly Active on Forums
  • Should have knowledge and keen interest in testing ROMs
  • You should be willing to discuss it in the QQ Beta group as well as in Forums

This is available for all regions, and the communication language is in English, now once you met the above requirements, here is the Application Procedure, to apply for the beta testing program.

  • Firstly, get the MIUI forum APK file from here, or you can also find it in the Google Play Store
  • Next Open the app, and Select Recruitment and fill your details and hit Submit, you’ll be notified if you’re in or not, on 11th.

Remember, the Beta ROM will be full of bugs, and some features might work or while other may not, join-in if you’re willing to take the risk of using an unstable version for a more than two/ three weeks or maybe more.
