Xiaomi has rolled out the v8.1.25 version of the MIUI 9, in case you are wondering this is not the official update it is still lying in the Beta phase, and we are expecting it to go official soon.

However, there are no noticeable changes in the User Interface, but the major change which one will notice at first glance is the all-new Music App. The new update Mi Music app engulfs a redesigned home page and a new current queue layout. The new app has a purple and white theme, the first tab contains Recently played option, the second one has Favorites section, and the third includes My Playlist option.

With this new software update the existing issues like saved contacts appearing as numbers, etc. are fixed in this. It is based on the Android 8.0 Oreo and will take some time to arrive as an official OTA update.
