Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime gets the MIUI 9.5 update

Xiaomi is in rapid action with Android updates after the Chinese giant revealed its Roadmap for its devices that will be getting the highly awaited MIUI 9.5 and as we talked about it earlier, the company doesn’t want to lose on its old customer and is updating older models before the newest ones. And proving this point further�is the MIUI 9.5 is now rolling out for the Redmi 3S and its premium sibling the Redmi 3S Prime.

However, don’t get too excited as this is still not based on Oreo, but you do get a bunch of new features and a whole host of bug fixes and performance enhancements. As this is a Global Stable ROM of MIUI version 9.5, it is available outside of China for all Redmi 3S and 3S Prime device around the globe including in India.

Talking about what’s new with the MIUI 9.5 Global ROM, you get a new format to float notifications in the landscape mode, and settings, as well as launcher, is now fixed when widgets were added. Furthermore, New gallery settings and optimized it for storing photos by taking minimum space. New resume options to transfer things via MI Mover, without getting interrupted.

You also get a revamped Mi browser with a fresh start page and start icons and links. Along with that ability to add shortcuts to home screen now arrives with this update and lastly, all other performance enhancements for a smooth browsing experience.
