Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 gets the Android Oreo closed beta update

It has been months since Google released the Android Oreo update for Pixel-series of devices and later it became available for various devices belonging to different manufacturers but still, a number of smartphones from various brands are there which are waiting for it to arrive, and one of the brands with a similar situation is Xiaomi.

When it comes to providing updates Xiaomi is a bit slow, but the latest news from their house is that they have announced the closed Beta update for the Mi Mix 2 smartphone, let’s check out more about it.

A few weeks back Xiaomi has announced the similar programme for its Mi6 smartphone, and now this programme has been extended to the Mi Mix 2 device. A limited amount of users will get a chance to experience it, and the update will not be going to offer a stable experience as it is referred to as a closed beta software update. Undoubtedly, it will offer some new features, but if you use this device as your daily driver, then you might face some issues due to the unstable software.

We will advise you not to install this software yet as some of the main features will not work on your device after it, in case you don’t know Beta means the update which is under development and is need to be improved.
