PUBG Mobile is one of the most played smartphone game right now. The game is so popular that any place you go like a college, restaurant, etc. you are bound to see teenagers playing PUBG on their smartphones. The game has also been caught up with authorities lately, and things are not looking good for this insanely popular Battle Royale game.
According to the latest news, PUBG Mobile is banned in four countries. In some of these countries the ban has been uplifted on some conditions, so without any ado, let’s take a look at what’s going on with PUBG Mobile ban.
India was one of the first countries to ban the game in multiple cities. PUBG Mobile has been banned in cities such as Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Bhavnagar, and Gir Somnath.
Nepal took a more strict route with PUBG Mobile. The Nepal government imposed a nationwide ban on PUBG Mobile in April which was later removed by the intervention of Supreme Court.
Iraq is also one of the countries to ban the popular battle royale game. Iraq parliament has banned several popular online games, including PUBG Mobile citing that these games are harmful to the society and also a potential national security threat.
China has the most number of PUBG Mobile players. But it looks like things are going to take a bad turn for PUBG Mobile in the country. China’s Online Gaming Ethics Review Committee has assessed 20 games, and among these 20 games, nine of them have been banned including popular titles like PUBG Mobile and Fortnite.
The company behind PUBG Mobile is communicating with Governments to get these bans uplifted, and we’re sure these bans won’t stay for long.
