Along with this the latest update also improves upon the image quality of the camera as well. There are no early bug reports as of now, so you should grab this update as it’s available as Over The Air(OTA) update.
Moreover, it doesn’t stop’s there, other enhancements include the following things:
- Audio optimizations for the speakers as well as for the earphones
- Improved GPS accuracy
- Fined tuned the device’s vibration motor
- Improved face unlocking system
- WiFi battery usage stats fix
- Fingerprint scanner optimized for faster unlocks
- Camera UI tweaks
- Camera image processing tweak
Other than this, you can also expect general bug fixes and stability improvements to the overall system. The update might take some time to reach everyone. Meanwhile, you can try to check it manually in the system software settings. Now as far as the Android Oreo is concerned, you shall expect the update by the end of the year or maybe next year in January 2018.
While the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T models are already receiving the Oreo update but misses out on the Projecttreble, which might be included on the 5T maybe? The project treble allows the OEMs to roll out the updates faster without having to be in touch with the chip makers to update their drivers; it can be done without it!
