When it comes to mobile processors the year 2017 was in the clear favor of Qualcomm, specifically in Flagship processors category in which Qualcomm has its Snapdragon 821/Snapdragon 835/Snapdragon 845 lineup while MediaTek has its Helio X30. These Qualcomm processors have been used by a lot of smartphones manufacturers while Helio X30 was only used by a few smartphones, today we have some new information about MediaTek so let�s check more about it.
The latest information from some sources suggests that MediaTek will soon be launching its two new chipsets which will power many smartphones in 2018, these processors are said to be powerful, but for more accurate information, we have to wait for the official arrival. The name of the two chipsets will be the Helio P40 and the Helio P70; they will be based on the all-new 12nm architecture developed by MediaTek.
Helio P40
This processor will come with 4 x A73 cores clocked at 2.0Ghz and 4 x A53 cores clocked at 2.0Ghz, for Gaming it will come with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU clocked at 700Mhz. It will support Camera resolution up to 32MP as it will come with 3 ISP�s. The Helio P40 will support AI tasks, and 8GB would be the maximum amount of RAM supported by it.
Helio P70
This processor will come with 4 x A73 cores clocked at 2.5Ghz and 4 x A53 cores clocked at 2.0Ghz, for Gaming It will come with a Mali-G72 MP4 GPU clocked at 800Mhz. It will support AI activities, and the maximum amount of RAM supported by it will be 8GB.
These two processors will power a plenty of smartphones from Oppo, Vivo, Gionee, and Meizu in 2018, to witness those devices we have to wait for their future launch.
