Huawei has recently launched some handsets in India including the Honor 7X, Honor 9 Lite, Honor 9i and the flagship Honor V10. Among these devices, Honor 9 Lite and the Honor V10 are those who are running the latest EMUI based on Android Oreo. Good news is there for the Honor V10 users as a new update is rolled out for the device which brings some new AI features coupled with some bug fixes, so let’s check out detailed information about the new software.

In case you don’t know Huawei has also announced that soon they’ll be launching the Flagship Honor V10 handset to the U.S market anyway we’ll talk about it some other time. The update arrives with a version number 126.96.36.199 which has been upgraded from the old 188.8.131.52 and is arriving for the device with model number BKL-L09. The update brings some new changes including the all-new January 2018 Security patch which will protect the device from various vulnerabilities.
The update brings VoLTE support for the Vodafone users; another major change is the Face recognition, the new update brings face unlocking feature in the security department.
New AI features include support for AR lens mode in the selfie camera which lets you change the image backgrounds; new AI detection feature is there with which you will be able to capture moving photos, AI super-resolution will give that extra enhancement to your images, AI Zoom for the refined zoom images, etc. Some under the hood changes have also been implemented with this update, and it is arriving as an OTA(Over the Air) software update.
