Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge, A3, A5 and Tab S3 Android Oreo development starts

The gossip of the town is still the same that we had last year, that when will my Android device will get the latest flavor of Google’s major upgrade. The latest Oreo update hasn’t even reached 2% of smartphones yet, but that number might soon see a significant rise as Samsung’s devices will also start getting Android Oreo 8.0 pretty soon.

Now according to reports from Galaxy Club Samsung has begun the Android Oreo development for its former flagship that’s the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. Moreover, the S7 isn’t the only one that will get this Oreo update, but the entire Galaxy A 2017 series, as well as the tablet Galaxy Tab S3, will be entering the Oreo list.

Furthermore, if you are wondering what about the entry-level Galaxy A3 2017? Then you will be glad to know that, the Galaxy A3 is also eligible for the Android Oreo 8.0 update. However, it is still unclear when will Samsungmight roll out these updates, but we think there won’t be any beta rollouts similar to the Galaxy S8/S8 + which are pretty close to receiving the Stable Oreo build.

And as far as the stable Oreo build is concerned for the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge, Galaxy Tab S3 and the A 2017 series, it should be landing anywhere around Q2 2018. Samsung did a fantastic job by deliveringregular Android security updates, but it’s huge line up of devices and heavily skinned UI often causes its major Android updates plans to get delayed.
