Google has started rolling out the latest update for the Google Play Services; this newest build comes with the version number as (11.9.51) 2.8. It is a small update and weights around 4.37MB. This update, as usual, doesn’t bring any new function or visual changes, as this is a purely a mainframe core component of the Android system. This one should bring performance upgrades, and you might see the new search filters in your Google Play Store.
If you’re not aware of the search filters than; you should read our earlier post about it being spotted for the first time. And it now looks like we have it enabled once again.
It is a good idea to update to the latest version of the Google Play Services, as this one app is responsible for all the authentication of your apps, which means it’s highly related to security. As well as used for synchronized data with your Google account, which further includes contacts, drive files and everything in between that’s all the data belonging to all Google Apps pre-installed on your smartphone.
