Asus Zenfone 5z is getting another software update

Asus is now rolling out a brand new software update for the Zenfone 5Z which brings a lot of new features and improvements. And this is the second update from the Taiwanese company after the one it rolled out earlier which included the June security patch and some bug fixes for the camera. The latest update comes with firmware version as 80.11.37.86  and brings performance enhancements to the camera’s portrait mode, which shall improve the overall blur detection as well.

Apart from the camera you also get improvements in the overall smoothness of the user interface, which will result into snappy experience zippy throughout the UI. Moreover, system stability update is also included with the new Wi-Fi stability on-board. Now as always the drill is, the update is over the air and before installing it make sure you have at least 50% or more battery in reserve. And download the update over Wi-Fi rather than Mobile data to avoid extra charges.

Also, such updates won’t arrive on all devices at the same time, so be patient until the update shows up on your side. To check for the update manually go to the settings section of your phone and scroll down at the bottom where you see About Phone and then tap on it, next tap on System Software Updates.

The Zenfone 5z is the flagship device from the Taiwanese PC makers house and with the such, a generous software supports the device will age well in future and the pricing is already pretty reasonable.
