YouTube for kids has been entertaining the young ones now for a few years now, but the app has not received any major update in the past few months and still lacks on some aspects. Well, now we have a new update for the app with some new changes which allow a parent to create a profile for your child. These profiles are connected to their parent’s Google account.
Now as far as the content is concerned, children will now get it as per their age, so new age-based recommendation feature is also here.
However, if you have multiple children, you can now maintain individual accounts for them, as everything is sync with their birthdays and the recommendations changes as per that and also its sync with the YouTube search history. Creating the children profile is also an easy task, with just a few taps like entering the date of birth, should the search option be enabled or vice versa and you’re done with the process.
Other then this you’ll find some new changes in the UI graphics, and new icons and most notable one is the new animated sections icon. Apart from that, the background on which the videos appear has now been replaced with unique wallpapers suited for kids.
