YouTube’s new design and logo up (YouTube APK download available)

Previously, Google introduced a fresh redesigned look for the YouTube website as well as for the mobile YouTube APK on Android. In addition to this, it also brought new features to table, for instance, the dark mode for your night-time binge, new policies and a minimalistic look for its entire web-app.

Speaking of this new feature, which now YouTube has taken out of the beta stage to stable version and made it available for its users across the globe on their latest mobile app. Along comes a fresh incipiently updated logo as well, and all this is now out in the newly updated YouTube APK.

Another feature YouTube brought is to speed up or speed down the playback speed for its mobile audience via gesture controls. Which was already present on its YouTube desktop website. Along with the 10 seconds skip gesture that we all are familiar with. Which is now taken forward and according to YouTube you can swipe from the right and left to watch the next or previous video as per your choice.

However, you already get next suggestion when you swipe up from the bottom. Notably, the American media-giant also added, that they’ll bring a new way that could magically warp the player according to the videos you’re watching.

Google said this about the new logo – “a cleaned up version of the YouTube wordmark and icon – was designed to be more flexible across devices of varying screen sizes. On smaller screens; YouTube can use just the icon alone to abbreviate its logo, while still making it easy to spot. The updated logo and icon are rolling out across desktop and mobile starting today; before arriving on other apps and services”.
