Xiaomi has been quite busy for some time, and now it’s back with some good news for its users as the company needs some really good beta testers for the next big Android Update that’s for Android Q 10 which will arrive as MIUI for Mi and Redmi devices. Google has already pushed out four beta version of Android Q, and Xiaomi has also started its own beta testing for Android Q now.
However, the Update which Xiaomi will share with its beta testers is only open for Mi 9 flagship users only for now, which could change as more versions start to come out in future. So, if you own a Xiaomi Mi 9 flagship, you will get an invitation for beta testing MIUI which will be based on Android Q 10.
Now users who will be registering for beta testing should keep one thing in mind that is this is an early half baked software build and will come with its own set of bugs which might ruin your daily usage. So, expect to encounter some glitches and crashes here and there, but that’s what you will sign-up for to test and provide feedback for the next build, that’s the second beta for Android Q by Xiaomi.
So, if you’re looking for a soft beta testing experience it is not recommended, however for others who can live with it can go ahead and sign up for the Android Q beta testing of MIUI by visiting here. All Mi 9 users qualify for this beta testing project. Lastly, Xiaomi has released a complete list of devices that the smartphone giant will be updating to the latest version of Android that’s MIUI 11, and you can read more about it here.
