This new version carries the version number as v2.18.121, and it is a beta update for now. So, those who have signed up for the Google Play Store for early Beta Access shall see this update. Moreover, this new update now brings description for WhatsApp groups, which will let people know more about what the group is for and what topics can be discussed there. Not only the description will be visible to the existing members of the group, but it will also be shown to a person who is viewing the group’s invitation link.
Apart from this, WhatsApp now lets you easily switch between voice and video calls, by just taping the video-call button and you will see how convenient this transition has become. Another thing that’s been added to the WhatsApp group info is the ability to seek for a list of group participants which is another handy feature and will help you find the relevant people within a group instantly; this is such a good time saver when you have a large group.
