A mysterious phone by Vivo has surfaced on Geekbench with MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor. It is named the Vivo 1819 at the moment, and it might be the next big thing from the company
Recently, certification agency EEC certified that there would be three upcoming Vivo smartphones with model numbers 1818, 1819, and 1820. The Vivo 1819 scored 1,562 points in the single-core test while it scored 5,964 points in the multi-core test, in the Geekbench benchmark which is quite impressive. The Crypto score, Integer Score, Floating Point Score and Memory Score of the phone is also quite impressive. The official launch date is not known yet, but the phone will probably launch early next year.
It is also evident from the listing that the smartphone will run on 4GB of RAM, Vivo’s custom Funtouch OS skin with Android 9 Pie straight out of the box. The phone will also support 22.5W dual engine fast-charging. From the specifications, we can speculate that the Vivo 1819 will be a mid-range smartphone in the sub-20000 price range. Looking at the smartphones released by Vivo in 2018, it is expected that the phone will sport a dual camera set up at the rear and a pretty good front camera.
There are no details about the display of the phone, but it is expected to be an above 6-inch phone with Halo FullView 1080p display. As the phone houses the Mediatek Helio P70, the phone will feature AI capabilities, better imaging and camera support, and better gaming performance. This phone might turn out to be quite good in its price range.
If you are considering to buy a mid-range phone in 2019, this phone might turn out to be quite a good choice.
