Telegram 4.9.1 update beings improved notifications (APK)

Telegram one of the fierce rivals of Whatsapp is currently pushing out a new update which brings a bunch of new features and improvements for the messaging app and especially for the notifications of Telegram. This now updates the version number to Telegram v4.9.0 and is available on the Google Play Store as well as you can find the Download link for the APK below.

Coming back to the new improvements found in this latest version of Telegram, we now have a Exceptions option in the Settings menu which will allow you to fine-tune your Telegram notifications and exclude that notification which doesn’t interest you as you have defined in the settings.

Telegram now also arrives with a more difficult power hashing algorithm (bolstered algorithm) that should protect your passport data and is beyond hackable for now. Moreover, the messaging app’s passport now supports a large type of data which also includes any translated version of doc files. For those who are unaware of the Passport feature in Telegram, it lets you have a unified Authorization service tool for identification and looks like its starting to become popular thus getting a new update.

Furthermore, you can now export your chats with the help of the latest Telegram for Desktop. This utility will thus make your conversations available offline in either JSON or HTML format. You can download the latest Desktop version of the Telegram from the Download link given below.
