Samsung’s ever expanding gear line up will soon have new member if this FCC listing holds true. As before this, there’s a device rumored since a long time to be added to the Samsung’s wearables portfolio, and this just seems like the one. The new listing is filed under the FCC ID A3LSMR600 with model number SM-R600.
This is the same model number which earlier received a Bluetooth certification and now with the FCC visits of the this device could mean, it will be announced soon. However, there’s no date for its announcement as of now. But we could possibly see it revealed along side the Galaxy Note 8, in this year’s Samsung unpacked event. Which is just a few weeks away on August 23.
Furthermore, this could also be the long speculated Gear Sport variant, that’s tailored towards fitness and athletic sporty users. And will pack all the regular bells and whistles of the Gear S3.
Moreover, the diagram shows the same conventional design language similar to the gear s3, but may bump the specs and IPX ratings for more fitness oriented durability. We could also expect a VO2 max integration. As it’s present in all sports and fitness related accessories; and its gives a accurate maximum rate of oxygen consumption measured during incremental exercise.
Well, there’s not much known about the gear sport as of now. But we might see it soon in the big event coming by in a couple of weeks or at IFA 2017. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we learn more about this upcoming device.
