As promised by Samsung that it will start rolling out the beta program to the selected list of countries for the first stage of beta testing, and it’s rolling out as said by the south-Korean tech-giant. The update is currently seeding in Korean and the US, on Sprint and T-mobile are pushing it for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus users.
Moreover, along with Android Oreo update, you also get Samsung’s Experience 9.0 which is all the TouchWiz’s bells and whistles. So, it’s basically Samsung Experience 9.0 which is based on the Android Oreo 8.0. However, if you want to be a part of this beta testing program, just visit here to join in before it gets overcrowded and ultimately gets closed for more new members.
Interestingly the software version’s build numbers are different for the Galaxy S8 its G950USQU1ZQJB, while for the Galaxy S8 Plus variant its G955USQU1ZQJJ. So, according to reports the one on the Galaxy S8 was the version which was leaked out a few days ago, while the one on the Galaxy S8 Plus (QJJ) is the latest final beta version of the software.
Finally, if Samsung continues to continue the updates program with this pace, then it’s sure shot that the company will achieve its January timeline to roll out the final build. However, with the Android Oreo 8.1 already in town, the 8.0 which will be rolling next year, won’t be the latest one and till the time every OEM start’s pushing the 8.0, Google will introduce Android P or 8.2.
As far as for Verizon and other carrier’s are concerned we still haven’t heard anything from them, they might probably start pushing the update in the following weeks or so.
