Samsung is keeping its promise of updating it mid-range and upper mid-range phones to the latest version of Android seems to be holding true. After they’ve updated their Galaxy J7 and yesterday A7 2017 models. And now we have information about the Galaxy A8 2016 to receive the Android Nougat update.
Samsung Galaxy A8 2016 with the following model number will receive this latest update soon.

- SM-A810F/DS
- SM-810YS
These models mentioned above were Wi-Fi certified and spotted running on Android Nougat 7.0. Furthermore, the certification specifies a date of 8th August 2017, so it won’t take much longer for Samsung to roll out the new updates for these devices.
Meanwhile, the A7 2017 has already started receiving the nougat update; and the A8 2016 will also get it in coming weeks. Moreover, this new update will bring Samsung Pass, new settings panel for a user-friendly experience and dual messenger just like the J7 2017.
