As per the change log, the device will now be upgraded to the Android 7.0 Nougat and will offer a new User interface of their custom TouchWiz UI. As we all know Android Nougat provides an updated notification bar which includes quick settings button as well. If you don’t know, then the device was running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, but the new update also brings the Dual Messenger function to the smartphone.

Along with the UI changes the update also brings increased performance and security level, though you have to spend 1.4GB to download the complete upgrade. Let me recall you the specs of the device; it runs on an Exynos 7880 Octa-Core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM along with a Mali-T830 MP3 GPU for Gaming.

It comes with 32GB of internal memory expandable up to 256GB’s. For Camera, it has a 16MP snapper with Aperture f/1.9, LED Flash, and in the front, a 16MP snapper is there as well. The device runs on a 3000mAh battery, and with the Nougat update, the overall performance of the device has been improved.
