OnePlus is constantly updating its devices and building a reliable reputation among the fans before the launch of the highly awaited OnePlus 6. Now the Chinese giant is rolling out new software updates as OxygenOS open Beta 9 and Beta 7 for the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T. This new Beta Update for the OxygenOS brings a couple of new improvements for the launcher as well as for the file manager. As in for the launcher it now supports new gestures, which now allows you to double tap to lock your screen. Other than that, you will now get to see an improve search history results within the app drawer of the launcher. So, allow your physical power button some time to relax.
Moreover, the file manager now gets optimized as now it has new file scanning algorithm up its sleeves to go through your large files more efficiently without wasting too many resources. As always as these are beta builds so make sure you’re ready to face some glitches here and there after you install these new updates.
