OnePlus 5 gets another Android Oreo update (Oreo beta 2)

OnePlus has started pushing out Android Oreo beta 2 for its OnePlus 5 users; the update is currently seeding out over the air. The latest update brings various previously reported bug fixes such as the widgets and shortcuts in the launcher were having issues. Which has now been fixed and some stability improvements?

Moreover, the camera also received few tweaks for its user interface, apart from that you now even get f4v format support for videos, within the file manager. Other improvements to the file manager bring faster deletion of huge files. Furthermore, the clone app/Parallel app bugs and the Picture in Picture mode is also resolved in this update.

Finally, other miscellaneous patches have been added to the Vibration motor which has been highly tuned, Bluetooth audio gets improved, and you also get a better reading mode. You can also check if there’s a bump in the security patch’s number because it seems like, it’s also included in this new update.

Now, once this update gets rolled out, and after few days, the feedback gets in, then the bug fixing of new issues will begin and then hopefully, we should receive the final stable update by the end of this 2017; or in early 2018 if there’s an Open beta 3. Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ is now in Oreo Update beta 4. Be patience; as you, such updates don’t spread across all regions within a single day, it covers each region in several different phases, and wait for the update to pop-up in your notification.
