Nokia’s entry-level budget phone the Nokia 5 got a minor reboot as the company has now introduced the 3GB RAM variant into the Indian market. Earlier, Nokia launched the 2GB RAM variant to the Indian market, and the phone fell in a much behind the competition on the spec sheet with its couple of Gigs of RAM.
So, now Nokia has decided to a Gig more, but the Price is still not justified because that thing is always going to cost more than other budget leaders. HMD has priced the 3GB RAM Nokia 5 at 13,499/- INR. However with that kind of price you get a 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. The Nokia 5 with now a gig more ram doesn’t double on storage either; it still offers 16GB of internal storage.

Moreover, other specs of the Nokia 5 includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chip clocked at 1.4 GHz which is an Octa-core CPU; a 5.2-inch 720p IPS display with 2.5D glass. It sports a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, while the on selfie front Nokia 5 has an 8MP front camera. Keeping the lights on is a 3000mAh power pack. The combination of a 720p display and that much battery will be very efficient on this device and will get you a good battery life hopefully.
The Nokia 5 runs on stock android and ships with Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box. It’s been said that Nokia will also update its budget phones to Android Oreo, so that’s a plus point. But still there much better devices in this price segment that offers more value for money and overshines the Nokia 5 even with 3GB of RAM.
