Samsung’s next big thing that is the Galaxy Note 9 will be upcoming later this year is said to have the same design similar to its predecessor. The device will pack Qualcomm’s top-end silicon that’s the Snapdragon 845 6GB RAM and will use the same camera’s as the Galaxy S9/S9+ with variable aperture technology while keeping the S-pen as its unique selling point which is more of a gimmick nowadays. As per many leakers, the Galaxy Note 9 will be a larger Galaxy S9/S9+ with a stylus, and there’s nothing special going on with it.
Huawei, on the other hand, might surprise us at the time of Galaxy Note 9’s launch as the Chinese Telecom giant is planning to launch the Mate 11 smartphone which will be one hell of a package and well-known insiders perceive it as the real threat to the Galaxy Note 9. The Huawei Mate 11 will be powered by a Hi-SiliconKirin 980 chip, which will be much more powerful and terrific in performance and efficiency and will spank the Galaxy Note 9 and it’s Snapdragon 845processor.
The real danger is Note9. According to the past, Note9's design is consistent with S9. It will continue to use the Snapdragon 845 and S9+ cameras, but Huawei Mate11 will use the Kirin980 processor with more performance and more terrible. The camera is more powerful than the P20P

Other than that the tweet of the Chinese leaker also suggests that the Mate 11 will sport a far better camera than Huawei’s own P20 Pro which is it’s latest 2018 flagship with a 40 MP shooter and 3x zoom. So, a camera better than the P20 Pro, while the Galaxy Note 9’s same GalaxyS9/S9 Plus camera tech will feel the heat from Huawei’s Mate 11.
Now the only way Samsung could tackle the Mate 11 is with an In-display fingerprint scanner or a better version of faceID, both of which are possible but aren’t good enough as these are still Gen 1 tech. Samsung will be looking ahead to pack in a more refined version of the under the display fingerprint reader and also shrink down on bezels to take on the Mate 11.
