Huawei was tipping for a while about their new smartphone and today they have finally launched it, the Huawei Honor 9i has been officially launched, and if you recall, then it is the same handset that has been launched in China(Huawei Maimang 6) a few weeks earlier. On paper, the device looks good, and we believe that in real life situations to it will perform well. Huawei Honor 9i is a Dual-SIM handset and supports 4G connectivity as well. It comes powered by Huawei’s own Hi-Silicon Kirin 659(64 bit) Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.3Ghz coupled with 4GB of RAM along with a Mali-T830 MP2 GPU for Gaming. It offers 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB’s via micro-SD card. It runs on Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.1 Nougat.
The major highlight of the handset is its 4 Cameras, it packs a Dual 16MP+2MP rear Camera with LED Flash, and in the front as well there is a 13MP+2MP Camera for selfies.
According to us, Huawei has taken this step to compete with brands like Oppo and Vivo who are promoting their devices as selfie expert. In the front, there is an 18:9 ratio 5.9(inch) Full HD Plus Display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The Fingerprint Scanner is present in the rear and the device measures only 7.5mm in thickness.
