Samsung Galaxy Gear S4 spotted passing regulatory, could launch soon

Samsung’s new smartwatch launch is now getting closer as the upcoming Gear S4 was spotted passing the ECC regulatory which means the launch of this smart wearable is near. The Gear S4 was earlier reported to come with better specs and a larger battery under the hood but keeping it slimmer than its predecessor. The battery from 380mAh could get a bump to 450mAh or more, while the device will be as usual offered in 2 models one with an LTE, along with the regular standard variant.

As per sammobile, the smart wearable is said to be in the testing phase in the USA obviously for the various bands it needs to support for various carriers in the states. The gear S4 will also come equipped with LTE in some markets. However, a special version of the same might also see the light in Samsung’s home country as well. Smartwatches were considered to be a niche thing until Apple Watch Series 2 and Watch Series 3 took off and now everyone again started taking the smart wearables scene seriously.

Moreover, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Gear S4 smartwatch in a new Gold shade as well, and more straps for the same will also be coming soon after it’s launch. Samsung might go the Apple way by offering new weaved clothes like material in a variety of colors.
