Asus today announced its much awaited Zenfone 4 series smartphones the Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 Pro, etc. in the global market but there is no information about their Indian launch yet.
Buy the big news apart from this is that the company has today introduced their new device in India, the Asus Zenfone Zoom S. It is a camera centric device and is the successor to the old Asus Zenfone Zoom. As per specifications, the phone appears to be a solid offering from Asus.
Zenfone Zoom S is a Dual-SIM handset and is compatible with 4G connectivity. Though you can�t insert 2 SIM�s and an SD�card at the same�time as it offers a Hybrid SIM Tray.The phone comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625(64 bit) Octa-Core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM along with an Adreno 506 GPU for gaming. It offers 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 2TB�s via micro-SD card. The phone runs a 3.0 version of Asus�s custom Zen UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow which sounds outdated.
In the front, it sports a 5.5(inch) Full HD AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 500nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection is there.
