Asus launches its Zenpad Z8s tablet, Comes with a Massive 4680mAh battery

Today Asus, the Taiwanese giant launched its new device and surprisingly it is a Tablet. It is named as Asus Zenpad Z8s, it is a 4G device and has been priced very aggressively.

Asus Zenpad Z8s is available for purchase through Verizon Wireless. The tablet features a Metal frame design and overall looks a great deal, but if you are wondering when will it be available in your country then we cannot comment upon that yet. Anyway, let’s take a look at the specifications and the pricing of the phone.

The tablet is available only in one color that is Gray. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650(64 bit) Hexa-Core processor clocked at 1.8Ghz under the hood coupled with 3GB of RAM along with an Adreno 510 GPU. The same hardware was previously seen on the very famous Redmi Note 3; Snapdragon 650 is among the best processors regarding performance. The tablet has a minimal design with no fancy technology.

In the Display department, there is a massive 7.9(inch) QXGA IPS screen with a typical resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The tab runs on Asus’s custom made ZenUI based on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. There is no Fingerprint Scanner on the tab, and as mentioned above, nothing about the global launch is confirmed as of now. In the Camera section, there is an 8MP rear snapper and in the front as well, it houses a gigantic 4680mAh non-removable lithium polymer battery which claims 12 hours of usage time and 300 hours of standby time.

The tab offers 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB’s via micro-SD card. It Zenpad Z8s weighs around 319 grams. Its key features are- 4G connectivity, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm Jack, etc. and you get all this at a price tag of 250$.

Asus recently launched the first device of the Zenfone 4 series as well, and it is getting good reviews from the tech community.
