Apple iPhone 11 (2019) may come with the iconic Touch ID

After the Apple iPhone XS, XS Max and XR failed to make a mark in the market; Apple looks forward to taking the market in a swoop with its new upcoming iPhone 11 which brings back the much-loved features to reignite the interest of the customers.

The new iPhone 11 boasts of the triple camera coupled with flash, bezel-less display, and in-display fingerprint reader. It is expected that the company will come out with three different sizes just like the 2018 lineup. Additionally, Apple pencil support could also be added.

Next-gen iPhone is expected to arrive without the 3D touch feature which was a significant game-changer for the previous versions of the smartphone. Apple might also reduce the in-display notch to give its users a better screen to body ratio. Obviously, we can expect a better A13 SOC, with would improve the performance of the new flagship by leaps and bound and a faster LTE modem to enable seamless networking and hopefully improved battery life consumption.

In order to cut cost, Apple is considering to replace the face unlock feature (Rumor), which failed to impress its users, with the all-new in-display touch ID because no matter how good and optimized your face unlock is, there are undoubtedly times when it is more convenient to unlock your device with your fingerprint. While in-display touch ID sensors seem to be slow as compared to physical touch ID sensors, Apple claims to use Ultrasonic reader which is supposed to be as fast and accurate as the physical touch ID and also more secure.
