Xiaomi has dozens of smartphones and their accessories like power banks, earbuds, covers, etc. available in the Indian market. The company is slowly introducing more of its products to the Indian market apart from smartphones. Xiaomi is also now into different products in the lifestyle category, products such as Luggage, Sunglasses, bags, sports shoes, etc. smart home products like Air purifiers, Smart Lights, CCTV Cameras, etc. The company also make Televisions and fitness accessories and wearables.
Recently, Xiaomi’s executive reveals that the company is going to release a more and different variety of products in India. They did not specifically address any products to be launched via Mi.com. Mi.com is the company’s key platform to sell its other products apart from smartphones and TVs. The company has huge hopes from its Mi.com portal. Raghu Reddy Head, Category and Online Sales, Xiaomi India, told IANS. “Mi.com is an important part of our online journey. The company started selling products online first with Flipkart, and now we have our own online store. To make relationships better with the buyers, we now have 10 warehouses with 500 call centers in the country,”
Since the beginning of Xiaomi’s Mi.com in May 2015, it has witnessed an incredible gain of over 3 million Daily Active Users and over 40 million Monthly Active Users, along with over 5.5 million daily active users being the highest recorded in the last one year. Over 24 Million people have installed Mi store apps.
The platform has developed over a while, and we will introduce a number of products for online buyers. The platform is already number one of its kind, and we are working towards increasing its reach in comparison to other online platforms, Raghu also stated to IANS.
