WhatsApp has been in the limelight recently with the co-founder leaving Facebook due to trust issues with user’s privacy and such. But we are here to offer the latest version of WhatsApp and talk a few bits about what’s new with this update. This one comes with version number 2.18.132, and it brings description for groups and searches lists as well.
Admins of groups will now be shown Group Settings under the group’s page info, and when an admin, taps on it, they will be able to limit who can change group’s description and also can change group admins. For more granular controls, WhatsApp has given the option for either to select admins or all participants to change the group info, icon, and subject.
All these handy features will make WhatsApp admin’s life much easier and will make groups way more efficient to manage. As this will restrict any unwanted users, who might change every aspect of the group now and then which could confuse newly joined group members. Now to get this newly published version of WhatsApp which by the way is still a beta update, can be found in the download link given below.
