Oppos independent subsidiary Realme started their journey in India with their first product Realme 1 in the markets. MediaTek Helio P60 processor powered the smartphone. It was initially a rebranded version of Oppo F7 Youth as both of them shared similar design, but the Realme 1 came with some notable improvements. The device sports a stunning diamond cut back panel and runs on ColorOS 5.2 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
At the end of 2018, the company launched its camera and more lifestyle-centric phone Realme U1. The device featured upgraded SoC, it is powered with MediaTek Helio P70. It has a dewdrop notch display. It also features a dual camera set up at the back along with a superior selfie camera. But the software remained the same.
