OnePlus 3, 3T and OnePlus 5, 5T gets a new OTA update

OnePlus has recently revealed the much anticipated Android Oreo update for its all devices except the old OnePlus X, OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2. In case you don�t know, OnePlus runs a Beta update program for all of its devices, and the registered users receive those Beta updates early than that of the official rollout. This time as well OnePlus has released a new update for its OnePlus 3/3T and the OnePlus 5/5T, the users who are already on Beta are getting these updates as an OTA, So let�s check out more about new updates.

OnePlus 5/5T Open Beta update

A new Beta update arrives as Open Beta 2 for the flagship OnePlus 5T while OnePlus 5 has received the Open Beta 4 update. These updates bring similar features to both of the devices:
1.) Both devices have received a new launcher updated to version 2.3
2.) Dynamic icon for clock
3.) Auto folder tagging
4.) Notification Dot optimization
5.) Improved power consumption measurements
6.) Added OnePlus Switch application(OnePlus�s data transfer app)
7.) Improved Clipboard, File-manager and Dialer application.
OnePlus has also mentioned that after this update some third-party camera apps will not work on the devices. For detailed changelog visit OnePlus forums.

OnePlus 3/3T Open Beta update

A new Beta update arrives as Open Beta 21 for the OnePlus 3T while OnePlus 3 has received the Open Beta 30 update. These updates bring some similar new features to the devices:
1.) Launcher has been updated to the version 2.3
2.) New Drawer categories have been introduced
3.) Auto folder tagging
4.) Dynamic Icon for Clock
5.) Notification Dot optimization
6.) Support for Airtel VoLte in India
7.) New Face Unlock is now added
8.) Added OnePlus switch application
