A mysterious Motorola device rolled out on GFXBench recently, and it reveals quite a lot about the phone. Let’s start with the specifications we have here; the device will have 3GB of RAM, 5-inch Full HD display, CPU is mentioned as a Qualcomm Octa-Core 2.2Ghz, and the GPU is Adreno 508 which points out that SOC under the hood is a Snapdragon 630. Now the camera on the rear is a 12-megapixel shooter, and on the front, it has a 16-megapixel shooter, this is a first time for a Motorola smartphone to have such big front camera. This device could be the first selfie-centric phone from Motorola.
The only selfie emphasis Motorola smartphone made till date was the Moto M, but previous leaks about Moto M2 suggests it has a different model number not XT1789 that this one has and Moto m is powered by an MTK processor, this has a Qualcomm chip. Thisdevice could be an entirely different phone or a variant of Moto X itself, like the Moto X Play, as last Moto X (Style) also had a mini variant called the Moto X Play and the Moto Z also has a Moto Z play.
This device will come pre-loaded with Android 7.1.1 with Motorola’s take on Android called the Motoblur; they’re still using the old UI name till this date, which is Motorola’s version of Stock Android. Well, there’s not much to this device as of now but as the time passes we may see a lot of new leaks and rumors of this device.
